Melbourne to stage new Tristan und Isolde
Maestro Anthony Negus to conduct Tristan und Isolde for Melbourne Opera in February 2018.
This will be Melbourne Opera's third Wagner production in under 3 years. Melbourne Opera receives no state nor federal funding.

Esteemed British conductor Maestro Anthony Negus, a former assistant of the great Reginald Goodall, and the Music Director of the well-known Longborough Festival Opera will conduct the Tristan.

A donation form for the campaign to raise funds for The Richard Wagner Society of Victoria’s Special Productions Fund to support Isolde is attached below.

Soprano Lee Abrahamsen will be making her Wagnerian debut in this production.
