Online sale of Bayreuth Festival tickets begins 18 March
The Bayreuth Festival is offering the opportunity to buy Festival tickets in 2018 without pre-ordering or getting on a waiting list. Online sales open on 18 March 2018 at 14:00 (CET)
From this date onwards tickets will be available for all 32 performances of the 2018 Festival, with varying quantities for sale at different prices. Buyers can purchase up to 8 tickets from the six works in this year's repertoire (LOHENGRIN, PARSIFAL, TRISTAN AND ISOLDE, DIE MEISTERSINGER VON NÜRNBERG, DER FLIEGENDE HOLLÄNDER and DIE WALKÜRE) up to a total of 8 tickets, with a maximum of 4 tickets per production.

On March 18 2018 from 10 a. m. to 8 p. m. and on March 19 from 8 a. m. to 6 p. m., a technical support  hotline has been set up on: +49 +921 162 715 38. Emails sent to ticket@bayreuther-festspiele.de can only be processed in the order in which they are received as of March 19.

There are a number of important new features in the online ordering process this year:

Participants must have a customer account with the Bayreuther Festspiele and a verified e-mail address. Anyone who does not yet have a customer account can now register until March 15  at 11:59 p. m. at http://ticketshop.bayreuther-festspiele.de/de The e-mail address must be verified by 16 March at 12:00 noon. For technical reasons, new registrations will then only be possible from 20 March  at 2 p. m. onwards.

Since we aim to make Festival performances accessible to as many interested parties as possible, we ask for your understanding in that all those who have already been offered or allocated tickets for the Festival season 2018 by means of an invoice in the online or written order procedure will only be able to access the ticket shop 24 hours after it opens.

The tickets purchased online in this way will be made available to buyers as a PDF which can be downloaded from the personal login area "My Festival" (on the Festival website) from 15 June 2018.

Tickets must be personalised before printing. It is possible to add the names of individual ticket holders until seven days before the performance for which the tickets are valid. Should an admission ticket have to be transferred at short notice (e. g. due to illness), it can be rewritten at the ticket office of the Bayreuth Festival up to 30 minutes before the beginning of the event.

Further and detailed information can be found on our website (www.bayreuther-festspiele.de).
