Results Announced for the 2026 International Wagner Singing Competition in Bayreuth

The final round of the 2026 International Singing Competition for Wagnerian Voices has concluded at the Friedrichsforum in Bayreuth. American tenor Devin Eatmon claimed the prestigious 1st Prize, taking home the grand award of €15,000. The renowned Wolfgang Wagner Prize (2nd Prize, €10,000) was awarded to South Korean bass Seokjun Kim. German baritone Carl Rumstadt won the hearts of the audience, capturing the Audience Award (€5,000). Alongside Norwegian mezzo-soprano Cæcilia Lund Tomter, all four finalists additionally received the €2,500 Finalist Prize.

We congratulate all the participants in this final. It was a successful evening. The singers were superbly accompanied by the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra under the musical direction of Axel Kober.
