Premiere of Bayreuth Meistersinger in the cinema
The Bayreuth Festival is pleased to announce that the opening performance of this year’s Festival “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” conducted by Philippe Jourdan and directed by Barrie Kosky will be shown in over 120 cinemas throughout Europe.
This gives all Wagner fans the opportunity to enjoy this performance from the Bayreuth Festival and members of Wagner societies to attend together, thus furthering our goal of making Wagner’s works available to a wider audience.
