A new Ring is underway in Helsinki
Das Rheingold premiered on August 30, and a further six performances follow in September.
Die Walküre will be staged in the Spring of 2020 and Siegfried and Götterdämmerung follow in the season 2020/2021. The whole Ring is expected in the autumn of 2021.
Stage Design is by Mikki Kunttu and costumes by Erika Turunen.
The Rheingold cast includes Tommi Hakala, Jukka Rasilainen, Lilli Kasiivi, Tuomas Katajala and Dan Karlström.
