Mit dem Internationalen Wettbewerb für Wagner-Stimmen 2026 möchte der Richard-Wagner-Verband Bayreuth e.V. einen wegweisenden Gesangswettbewerb am Ort der Wagner-Festspiele etablieren – erstmals zum 150. Geburtstag der Bayreuther Festspiele. 
Kooperationspartner sind die Bayreuther Festspiele.

Förderer sind die Gesellschaft der Freunde von Bayreuth e.V., der Kulturfonds Bayern, die Stadt Bayreuth, die Oscar und Vera Ritter Stiftung sowie die Adalbert Zajadacz Stiftung.

Der Richard-Wagner-Verband Bayreuth e.V. ist einer der Ortsverbände des Richard-Wagner-Verbandes International. Er versteht sich als ein Forum für alle Musik- und Kunstfreunde, wobei die Beschäftigung mit dem universellen Schaffen Richard Wagners den Schwerpunkt bildet. Er will aber auch ganz allgemein mit seinem Programm das kulturelle Angebot in der Festspiel- und Universitätsstadt Bayreuth bereichern. Die Förderung des künstlerischen Nachwuchses ist ihm ein besonderes Anliegen.

With the International Singing Competition Wagner Voices 2026, the Richard Wagner Association Bayreuth e. V. aims to establish for the first time a groundbreaking singing competition at the Wagner Festival venue – to mark the 150th anniversary of the Bayreuth Festival.
The cooperation partner is the Bayreuth Festival.

Sponsors are the Society of Friends of Bayreuth e. V., the Kulturfonds Bavaria, the City of Bayreuth, the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation and the Adalbert Zajadacz Foundation.

The Richard Wagner Association Bayreuth is one of the local chapters of the Richard Wagner Association International. It sees itself as a forum for all music and art lovers, with a focus on exploring the universal oeuvre of Richard Wagner. It also aims to enrich the cultural offerings in the festival and university city of Bayreuth with its program. The promotion of young artists is a particular concern.

Avec le Concours international de chant Wagner 2026, l'Association Richard Wagner Bayreuth e. V. souhaite créer pour la première fois un concours de chant novateur sur le site du Festival Wagner, à l'occasion du 150e anniversaire du Festival de Bayreuth.
Le partenaire de coopération est le Festival de Bayreuth.

L'Association Richard Wagner Bayreuth est l'une des sections locales de l'Association internationale Richard Wagner. Elle se considère comme un forum pour tous les amateurs de musique et d'art, avec pour objectif principal l'exploration de l'œuvre universelle de Richard Wagner. Elle vise également à enrichir l'offre culturelle de la ville universitaire et festive de Bayreuth grâce à son programme. La promotion des jeunes artistes lui tient particulièrement à cœur.
