Along with his deep knowledge of Wagner’s music, Prof. Muller draws upon a variety of disciplines.  Each lecture contains biographical details, information on the source of the libretto, and a discussion of important musical features, including leitmotifs, harmony, and orchestration, with emphasis on the interactions of the characters.

Lectures are illustrated with recorded excerpts and visual examples.  A brief question-and-answer period concludes each session.
