Musik im Wald (Music in the forest)
To mark the 150th anniversary of the Bayreuth Festival Theatre, the RWVI invites its members and friends to an extraordinary evening at a location closely associated with Richard Wagner. In the picturesque park of Fantaisie Palace in Donndorf, music, history, nature, and gastronomy combine to create a unique experience.
In the surrounding forests and parks, Wagner found peace and inspiration during his walks, allowing him to further develop ideas that later found their way into Götterdämmerung, the final part of his monumental Ring of the Nibelung.
The program will be complemented by lectures, musical performances, a surprise concert in the forest, and a festive gala dinner in the Fantaisie Palace café.
"Musik im Wald" promises an unforgettable evening where the spirit of Richard Wagner can be experienced at one of the most authentic Wagnerian sites in the Bayreuth area.
