Fantaisie Palace in Donndorf

Am 21. August 2026 veranstaltete der RWVI in der Nähe von Bayreuth eine besondere Veranstaltung: Musik im Wald.
Anlässlich des 150-jährigen Jubiläums der Bayreuther Festspiele lud der RWVI seine Mitglieder und Freunde zu einem außergewöhnlichen Abend an einen Ort ein, der eng mit Richard Wagner verbunden ist. Im malerischen Park des Schlosses Fantaisie in Donndorf verbanden sich Musik, Geschichte, Natur und Gastronomie zu einem besonderen Erlebnis.
In den umliegenden Wäldern und Parkanlagen hatte Wagner auf seinen Spaziergängen einst Ruhe und Inspiration gefunden, um an Ideen weiterzuarbeiten, die später ihren Weg in die Götterdämmerung, den Schlussteil seines monumentalen Ring des Nibelungen, fanden.
Das Programm wurde durch Vorträge, musikalische Beiträge, ein Überraschungskonzert im Wald sowie ein festliches Galadinner im Café des Schlosses Fantaisie ergänzt.
„Musik im Wald“ bot einen unvergesslichen Abend, an dem der Geist Richard Wagners an einem der authentischsten Wagner-Orte im Raum Bayreuth erlebbar wurde.

On August 21, 2026, the RWVI hosted a special event near Bayreuth: Musik im Wald.
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Bayreuth Festival, the RWVI invited its members and friends to an extraordinary evening at a place closely linked to Richard Wagner. In the picturesque park of Fantaisie Palace in Donndorf, music, history, nature and gastronomy came together to create a unique experience.
In the surrounding forests and parklands, Wagner once found peace and inspiration on his walks to continue working on ideas that would later find their way into Götterdämmerung, the final part of his monumental Ring of the Nibelung.
The program was complemented by lectures, musical contributions, a surprise concert in the forest and a festive gala dinner in the café of Fantaisie Palace.
Musik im Wald offered an unforgettable evening where the spirit of Richard Wagner could be experienced at one of the most authentic Wagner sites in the Bayreuth region.

Le 21 août 2026, le RWVI a organisé un événement particulier près de Bayreuth : Musik im Wald.
À l'occasion du 150e anniversaire du Festival de Bayreuth, le RWVI a invité ses membres et amis à une soirée exceptionnelle dans un lieu étroitement lié à Richard Wagner. Dans le parc pittoresque du château Fantaisie à Donndorf, musique, histoire, nature et gastronomie se sont unies pour offrir une expérience unique.
C'est dans les forêts et les parcs environnants que Wagner trouvait autrefois calme et inspiration lors de ses promenades, pour poursuivre le travail sur des idées qui allaient plus tard trouver leur place dans le Crépuscule des Dieux, la dernière partie de son monumental Anneau du Nibelung.
Le programme a été complété par des conférences, des contributions musicales, un concert surprise en forêt ainsi qu'un dîner de gala festif au café du château Fantaisie.
Musik im Wald a offert une soirée inoubliable, où l'esprit de Richard Wagner a pu être ressenti dans l'un des lieux wagnériens les plus authentiques de la région de Bayreuth.
