Pacific Opera to perform reduced Ring
Pacific Northwest Opera ( will be presenting 4 performances of a one-evening reduction of the Ring of the Nibelung on May 3,5,10 & 12, 2019 in McIntyre Hall in Mount Vernon, WA, USA. Other than condensing it into 3 hours instead of 18 and using an orchestra of 33 players rather than the 102 players that Wagner indicated, our production is going to be a very traditional presentation of the Ring.

The production will be led by Maestro Jonathan Khuner who has conducted at the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera and Chicago Lyric Opera and was the prompter for the Bayreuth Ring in 1996.

McIntyre Hall ( ) is a modern performance venue with outstanding acoustic and sight lines an ideal setting for opera. Ticket prices are very reasonably priced at $65 for best seats.
